Case Kopacz carded a 95 on Saturday (Sept. 17), leading the Oakwood boys’ golf team in the 12-school Paris Invitational.
The Comets didn’t have enough players to be scored as a team. Other participants at Paris were Mason Goodner (111) and Gage Warren (132).
On Thursday (Sept. 15), Kopacz was the meet medalist in a dual meet with Danville at Turtle Run, matching his best score of the season (39).
Goodner carded a 52, Kyle McFarland had a 53, Riley Whaling had a 58 and Warren shot a 59.
Oakwood (8-11) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 19) at Turtle Run, in Danville, against Westville and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
