For the second time in its last five matches, Heritage’s volleyball team rallied from a one-set deficit to post a win.
On Thursday (Sept. 15), the Hawks regrouped for a 21-25, 25-16, 25-17 triumph at Toledo Cumberland.
Mary Roland posted 28 assists and Lilli Montgomery logged 19 digs for the Hawks.
Montgomery also had six assists and five service aces. Roland added eight digs and six kills.
Bryn Wyant and Adena Paul each landed eight kills. Wyant also had nine digs and two aces while Paul chipped in with four digs and three aces.
Gracie Tate and Destanee Morgan had matching statistical lines of five kills, six digs and two aces. Riley Miller contributed two kills and a block.
Heritage (6-6-1) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 19) at home against Chrisman.
