Senior Maddux Carter placed seventh for the St. Joseph-Ogden golf team on Saturday (Sept. 17) at the 12-school Paris Invitational.
He fired rounds of 40 and 42, for an overall 82.
SJ-O placed fifth with a composite score of 346.
Other Spartan scores were: Jacob Kern (84), Ashten Cafarelli (85), McGwire Atwood (94), Jack Robertson (101) and James Huisinga (135).
SJ-O returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 20) in the Illini Prairie Conference Meet at Willow Pond, in Rantoul.
