Senior Case Kopacz captured medalist honors on Monday (Sept. 19) at Turtle Run Golf Course, in Danville, as Oakwood placed second in a three-school golf meet.
Kopacz fired a 41.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (188) was the meet winner followed by Oakwood (205) and Westville (225).
Other scores for the Comets were Mason Goodner (50), Kyle McFarland (50), Gage Warren (61), Riley Whaling (66) and Lily Harden (69).
Oakwood (9-12) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 22) in the Vermilion Valley Conference Tournament at Harrison Park.
