Lockhart’s goal puts SJ-O soccer over Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Ryker Lockhart had an assist and scored the tie-breaking goal on Saturday (Sept. 24) as St. Joseph-Ogden recovered from a halftime deficit to register a 2-1 non-conference soccer victory at Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
Collin Thomey scored the equalizing goal in the second half. Lockhart sent the Spartans home with the win with an assist from Spencer Wilson.
Sharing the goalkeeping duties were Hunter Ketchum and Jacek Slowikowski, each with two saves.
On Thursday (Sept. 22), Ketchum posted four saves, but the SJ-O soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss in Champaign to once-beaten St. Thomas More.
The Sabers put in one goal each half.
SJ-O (9-3-1) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 26) at home against Judah Christian.
