Spartans remain unbeaten in Illini Prairie Conference play

Taylor Hug’s double-double (21 assists and 13 digs) sparked St. Joseph-Ogden to an Illini Prairie Conference volleyball win on Tuesday (Oct. 11) in Fairbury against Prairie Central, 25-16, 25-18.
SJ-O is 6-0 in league play and all six wins have been in straight sets.
Peyton Williams posted a 12-dig, six-kill performance. Other key contributors for the Spartans were Addie Roesch (seven kills, five digs and three service aces), Shayne Immke (nine digs and seven kills), Mikyla Haley (eight digs) and Helene Jones (two blocks).
On Wednesday (Oct 12), Hug recorded 25 assists and five digs as SJ-O pummeled Fisher, 25-12, 25-15.
Immke and Roesch each delivered eight kills and four digs. Williams landed five kills and Josey Frerichs finished with four kills.
Roesch served two aces and Williams contributed three digs and one service ace.
SJ-O (23-7 overall) returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 15) at home against Chillicothe IVC.
