Oakwood opened its junior high boys’ basketball season at home on Tuesday (Nov. 8) with back-to-back victories at home over Hoopeston Area.

Behind a 31-point outburst from Carsen Dudley, the eighth-graders scored a 51-16 win.

The Oakwood seventh-graders were victorious, 43-8, receiving 20 points from Nathan Young and 16 from Jaethan Perez.

Both Oakwood squads return to action on Monday (Nov. 14) at Bismarck-Henning.
