PV-O picks up 12th win over Westville

The Prairieview Ogden seventh-grade girls’ basketball team continued its outstanding season on Thursday (Nov. 3) by overpowering visiting Westville, 33-7.
Kellyn Irwin and Atleigh Miller each made six points. Finishing with four points apiece were Greta Goldenstein and Makayla Hesterberg.
On Wednesday (Nov. 2), the seventh-graders topped visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda, 33-14, behind a 12-point outburst from Irwin. Goldenstein contributed six points and Isabella Frerichs added five points.
The PVO seventh-graders have a 12-1 season record.

Against Westville, the PVO eighth-graders dropped a 31-23 decision. Olivia Bertlatsky and Miller showed the way with six points apiece. Irwin and Anna Hammond each added four points.
Against PBL, the Mustangs were edged, 28-22. Miller tallied eight points and Irwin made six points.
PVO returns to action at home in Flatville on Tuesday (Nov. 15) against Heritage before closing the season at home on Thursday (Nov. 17) at home against Schlarman Academy.
The eighth-graders are 3-10.
