PVO on seven-game win streak

The seven-game winning streak of the seventh-grade Prairieview Ogden girls’ basketball team ended on Tuesday (Nov. 8) in an 18-8 loss at Monticello.
Isabella Frerichs and Atleigh Miller each scored four points.
A day earlier, PVO knocked off Georgetown-Ridge Farm, 24-14, in a road game. Miller tossed in 10 points and Korinne Travis hit six points.
The seventh-graders have a 13-2 overall record.
The PVO eighth-graders are seeking an end to a four-game losing streak after falling to Monticello, 42-11, and to Georgetown-Ridge Farm, 27-25 in overtime.
Miller netted five points and Olivia Berlatsky contributed four against Monticello. Against G-RF, Miller finished withy 13 points and Kellyn Irwin added eight points.
PVO’s eighth-graders have a 3-12 season record.
The Mustangs return to action on Thursday (Nov. 17) in their regular-season finale at Danville Schlarman Academy.
