Ainsley Dirksmeyer scored six points for the St. Joseph seventh-grade girls’ basketball team on Saturday (Nov. 12), sparking the Panthers to an 18-0 win at Hoopeston Area.
Avery Haley, Megan Kearney and Brooklyn Stevens all finished with four points.
On Tuesday (Nov. 15), the Panthers were edged at Charleston, 14-8. Avery Lappin hit a team-high four points. Dirksmeyer netted two points. Haley and Stevens each made a free throw.
On Wednesday (Nov. 16), St. Joseph dropped a 30-9 decision at Monticello. Dirksmeyer led the Panthers with six points. Stevens contributed two points and Kearney had one point.
The four-game road trip to end the regular season concluded on Thursday (Nov. 17) with a 35-10 loss at Mahomet-Seymour.
Kearney and Stevens each notched three points. Addison Knight and Lappin added two points apiece for the Panthers (5-14).

The St. Joseph eighth-graders concluded the regular season with losses in their final four games.
The Panthers lost at Hoopeston Area, 22-14. Hayden Dahl recorded five points. Abigail Crider and Iris Davis collected four points each and Maggie Hewkin hit a free throw.
On Tuesday (Nov. 15), Charleston edged St. Joseph, 24-21. Dahl hit eight points and Crider made six points. Adeline Stevens finished with five points and Kiah Riesel had two points.
On Wednesday (Nov. 16), Monticello topped the Panthers, 37-9. Dahl totaled three points. Finishing with two points apiece were Jones, Riesel and Stevens.
The Panthers ended the regular season with a 40-19 loss at Mahomet-Seymour. Dahl posted a team-high seven points. Crider had six, Riesel made four and Stevens tallied two points.
The St. Joseph eighth-graders (4-15) open IESA regional play on Monday (Nov. 28) in a quarterfinal game at Paris against third-seeded Westville. The Panthers are the No. 6 tournament seed.
