Heritage picks up win over Mary Miller

Cameron Johnson pumped in 15 points – including two shots from three-point range – on Tuesday (Nov. 22) to pace the Heritage Junior High seventh-grade boys’ basketball team to a 39-5 triumph at Georgetown over Mary Miller.
Landin McComas drilled 12 points and Bryson Warren collected a season-high nine points.
Heritage (4-4) held its opponent without a field goal until the third quarter.
The Heritage eighth-grade squad dropped a 46-19 decision against Mary Miller. Johnson tossed in a team-high 11 points.
The eighth-graders have a 1-7 season record.
Both Heritage squads return to action on Thursday (Dec. 1) at Hoopeston Area.
