Oakwood can’t hold on in second half to ALAH

Jaydah Arrowsmith scored 14 points, but Oakwood was unable to hold onto a five-point halftime lead and suffered a 38-31 girls’ basketball loss on Monday (Nov. 28) at Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.

The Comets led at the break, 16-11.

Nikita Taylor tallied 11 points for Oakwood and Addie Wright chipped in with four points.

Oakwood (3-3) returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 1) at home against Rantoul.
