Oakwood/Salt Fork posted two dual-meet victories on Tuesday (Dec. 6) in its home-opening wrestling meets.
The Comets handed St. Joseph-Ogden a 57-22 loss and then overpowered Clifton Central, 50-28.
Winning twice for Oakwood/SF were Brayden Edwards (106 pounds), Tyler Huchel (113 pounds), Jack Ajster (120 pounds), Reef Pacot (145 pounds), Blake Barney (152 pounds), Bryson Capansky (160 pounds), Dalton Brown (170 pounds) and Harley Grimm (182 pounds).
Pinning both of their opponents were Huchel, Barney, Brown and Grimm. Grimm is off to a 5-0 start with five pins.
Teammates crafting one pin on Tuesday were Ajster, Pedro Rangel (132 pounds), Pacot, Capansky and Doug Myers (195 pounds).
Oakwood/Salt Fork (3-3) returns to action on Saturday (Dec. 17) at the Skull and Crossbones Tournament.
