Four Spartans pull through to snap losing streak with win over BH/RA

Four players accounted for all of the points on Thursday (Dec. 15) as the St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team broke a two-game losing streak with a 50-31 non-conference win at Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
Taylor Hug made a game-high 19 points and hit five of her baskets from three-point range.
She was supported by Addison Frick (12 points), Addy Martinie (10 points) and Addie Seggebruch (nine points).
On Saturday (Dec. 17), the Spartans suffered a 55-26 loss at Pleasant Plains.
Martinie totaled a team-high 10 points. Addie Brooks canned two three-point shots and finished with six points. Hug had five points and Frick finished with four points.
The Spartans fell behind, 13-5, after one quarter and 28-10 at halftime.
SJ-O (4-7) returns to action on Monday (Dec. 19) at home against Cissna Park.
