Cameron Johnson tossed in 22 points, but the seventh-grade Heritage boys’ basketball team dropped a narrow 40-36 decision at home on Thursday (Dec. 15) against Schlarman Academy.
Schlarman’s lead going into the fourth quarter was 30-29.
Landin McComas tallied eight points, Colby Schrock contributed four points and Dylan Kirshner added two points.
The seventh-graders have an 8-6 season record.
Schlarman also grabbed a 51-27 victory over Heritage in the eighth-grade contest.
Kale McComas led Heritage with 13 points. Brayden Jones totaled six points.
The eighth-graders are 3-11 for the season.
Heritage returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 5, 2023) against Tri-County.
