Hawks defeat Georgetown-Ridge Farm at BSN Classic

Five players scored in double figures on Tuesday (Dec. 27) as the Heritage Hawks outscored Georgetown-Ridge Farm, 72-63, in a boys’ basketball game at the BSN Classic at Broadlands.
Rylan White drained five three-point shots and led Heritage with 15 points.
Other key contributors were Julliyan Gray (14 points), Robert Holloman (13 points), Drew Williams (12 points), Timmy Wilson (10 points) and Aaron Coffin (eight points).
The Hawks nailed 10 three-pointers en route to their highest scoring output of the season. Five different players made three-pointers.
Heritage expanded a 33-32 halftime lead into a 50-45 margin entering the final period.
In their other game on Tuesday, Heritage was edged by Armstrong-Potomac, 41-38.
White nailed three three-point shots and led the Hawks with 11 points. Williams hit nine points and Wilson contributed eight points.
A-P broke from a 9-9 first-quarter tie into a 21-16 halftime lead.
On Wednesday (Dec. 28), unbeaten Salt Fork (12-0) handed the Hawks a 59-22 setback.
White led Heritage with nine points. Holloman ended with eight points and Wilson totaled five points.
White has made 20 of his last 22 field goals from three-point range, including two against Salt Fork.
Heritage (3-9) returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 29) with two games that will be played at Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin High School.
