Heritage loses in first round of AL/AH Holiday tournament

The Heritage Hawks lost twice in first-round action of the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Holiday girls’ basketball tournament.
Windsor/Stewardson-Strawsburg posted a 48-12 over the Hawks and Decatur Eisenhower registered a 68-26 triumph over Heritage on Wednesday (Dec. 21).
Loran Tate led Heritage with five points against Windsor/SS. Alexis Day netted three points.
Against Eisenhower, Faith Latham and Adena Paul each led the way with eight points apiece. Day and Bailee Lubben each recorded three points.
Heritage (0-9) returns to action on Monday (Jan. 2) when the tournament at Arthur resumes. The Hawks will face two more opponents.
