Adena Paul registers double-double against AL/AH

Adena Paul put up season-high totals of 14 points and 16 rebounds on Monday (Jan. 2) for Heritage, which dropped a 44-32 decision to Chrisman in the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Tournament.
Paul netted eight of her points in the opening quarter as the Hawks built a 10-9 lead. The teams were tied at halftime, 14-14.
Faith Latham hit two three-point shots and canned six points. Loran Tate added five points.
In an early-season game against Chrisman, the Hawks lost by 26 points.
Heritage also dropped its final game in the AL/AH Tournament, 66-13 to the host school. Paul had a team-high five points. Gracie Tate contributed four points.
On Tuesday (Jan. 3), Heritage dropped a 42-12 decision to Decatur Lutheran. Latham led the way with four points.
The Hawks (0-12) return to action on Thursday (Jan. 5) at Arcola.
