Two Spartans recorded pins on Tuesday (Jan. 3) as St. Joseph-Ogden dropped its home-opener in wrestling, losing a dual meet to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, 48-30.
The SJ-O pinners were Gary Page (106 pounds) in 42 seconds and Coy Hayes (152 pounds) in 3 minutes and 52 seconds.
Three other Spartans picked up forfeit wins: Emmett Holt (113 pounds), Holden Brazelton (132 pounds) and Peyton Sarver (195 pounds).
SJ-O will return to action on Saturday (Jan. 7) in the Robinson Duals.
