Oakwood/Salt Fork won dual meets from three area schools at home on Friday (Jan. 6) and in the process secured the Vermilion County championship.

The Comets decisioned Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (49-30), Westville/Georgetown-Ridge Farm (41-33) and Hoopeston Area (46-24).

Following Oakwood/SF in the team standings were runner-up Hoopeston Area, third-place B-H/R-A and fourth-place Westville/Georgetown-Ridge Farm.

The Comets return to action on Tuesday (Jan. 10) at Mattoon.
