Hawks headed to consolation bracket play in Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament

Julliyan Gray scored 13 points and Drew Williams added 12 points for Heritage, which dropped a 71-52 decision at Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond in a first-round game of the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament.

Rylan White contributed 10 points. Joel Bear had six points and Aaron Coffin finished with five points.

A-L/A-H led, 23-15, after one quarter.

The ninth-seeded Hawks are 6-15 overall and return to action on Tuesday (Jan.24) at Argenta-Oreana in a consolation bracket game against seventh-seeded Villa Grove (8-13) at 5 p.m.
