Jaydah Arrowsmith scored a game-high 16 points and Addie Wright added 15 points on Thursday (Jan. 26) as the Oakwood girls’ basketball team defeated visiting Westville, 46-33.
The Comets expanded a 9-6 lead after one quarter into a 24-13 edge at halftime. Cherokee Hanner chipped in with five points.
Oakwood (14-13) is 6-3 in Vermilion Valley Conference action. The Comets play Iroquois West in Gilman on Monday (Jan. 30).
