The Heritage eighth-grade volleyball team captured fifth-place on Saturday (Feb. 4) in the Effingham St. Anthony Tournament.
After opening with a win over St. Anthony, 25-22, 15-25, 25-9, Heritage lost to St. Michael’s (25-20, 25-12) and to Oblong (25-12, 25-18).
In the fifth-place match, Heritage topped North Clay, 25-16, 25-10.
On Thursday (Feb. 2), the Heritage eighth-graders pulled off a two-set sweep at Bismarck-Henning, 25-18, 25-16.
The seventh-graders dropped a two-set decision at Bismarck-Henning, 25-12, 25-15.
For the season, the eighth-graders are 11-6 and the seventh-graders are 4-9.
