Heritage girls’ basketball season comes to an end

Heritage dropped a first-round game in the IHSA Class 1A girls’ basketball regional tournament on Saturday (Feb. 11) at Moweaqua Central A&M, 54-13.
Adena Paul led the Hawks with eight points.
In the team’s regular-season finale on Thursday (Feb. 9), Paul totaled 13 points – one shy of her season-high – but the Hawks lost at home to Fisher, 51-22.
For the season, Paul led – or shared the team-lead – in scoring in 10 games. Faith Latham led in five games. Alexus Day and Loran Tate each led in two games and Paige George led in one game.
Paul was the team’s top scorer for the season and had high games of 14, 13, 12 and 12 points.
Heritage finishes with a 1-18 overall record.
