Holloman and Struck lead Hawks against Sullivan

Robert Holloman and Brennon Struck drove in runs for Heritage on Wednesday (March 22) in its baseball home-opener, but the Hawks were beaten by Sullivan, 20-2.

Holloman, Destin Nickle and Zaien Smith collected hits for Heritage. Smith bashed a double and Nickle stole a base.

Haiden Davis, the fourth Heritage pitcher, didn’t allow an earned run in his one-inning stint on the mound. He registered one strikeout.

On Tuesday (March 21), Davis and Struck had hits and drove in one run apiece for Heritage, which dropped a 14-2 baseball decision at Armstrong-Potomac.

Nickle had the Hawks’ other hit.

Nickle and Smith each scored one run.

Heritage (0-3) returns to action, weather permitting, on Monday (March 27) at home against Neoga.
