Comet softball winning streak comes to an end

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond pushed across five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning on Thursday (March 30) to rally past Oakwood, 9-8, and end the Comets’ two-game winning streak.
Gracie Enos, who pitched five innings, had two hits and drove in four runs to lead the Comets, who were limited to five hits. Olivia Fegett had two RBI. Sophia Hart and Lacey Harrison also knocked in runs.
Samantha Dunavan drew three walks.
Oakwood (2-6) returns to action on Monday (April 3) at Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
