The Heritage 3,200-meter relay finished first on Thursday (April 20) in the Westville Tiger boys’ track and field invitational.
Sharing the baton were Eli Denmark-Collins, Aidan Ashbrook, Rowan Denmark-Collins and Zach Ruwe.
They were timed in 10:06.16 and won by more than 97 seconds.
In the 3,200 meters, Hunter Montgomery ran second (12:52.75).
The five-school invitational was postponed by weather conditions after seven of 17 boys’ events were completed. Oakwood was leading with 79 points and Heritage was in fourth (18 points) when the invitational was stopped.
Heritage will return to action on Friday (April 28) in the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartan Classic.
