St. Joseph-Ogden reaches 20-win mark for 11th consecutive year

Maddux Carter drilled three hits on Wednesday (April 26) as the St. Joseph-Ogden baseball team captured a 7-3 baseball win at home over Westville.

SJ-O is 20-4 for the season, reaching the 20-win mark for the 11th consecutive year under head coach Josh Haley.

Luke Landrus and Adam Price both knocked two hits against the Tigers. Price drove in three runs. Coy Taylor delivered two RBI. Carter tallied two runs.

Nolan Earley (5-0) earned the win. In six innings, he permitted five hits, two walks and recorded eight strikeouts.

Landrus pitched a scoreless seventh inning, his fifth relief outing this spring without allowing a run.

The Spartans return to action on Thursday (April 27) at home at Meier Field against Charleston.
