Zaien Smith, Anthony Happ and Lucas Miller had hits for Heritage on Thursday (May 4), but the Hawks dropped a 17-4 baseball decision at home to Villa Grove.

Heritage carried a 3-2 lead into the fourth inning.

Happ and Juliyan Gray drove in runs for the Hawks. Scoring runs were Smith, Happ, Miller and Joey Markstahler.

Heritage (2-16) returns to action on Monday (May 8) at Okaw Valley.
