Comets come from behind to defeat Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Olivia Fegett and Gracie Hanner each drove in two runs on Monday (May 8) to spark Oakwood to a come-from-behind 9-7 softball victory at home over Georgetown-Ridge Farm.

The Comets trailed, 6-3, in the fifth inning and were tied, 6-6, in the sixth inning.

Hanner collected three of the team’s six hits. Teammate Gracie Enos reached base four times via walks.

Enos pitched all seven innings and allowed four hits. She also registered four strikeouts.

Oakwood (8-18) returns to action on Saturday (May 13) at Chrisman.
