Oakwood’s softball team suffered a season-ending 12-0 loss at Sullivan against the host school on Monday (May 15) in a Class 2A regional quarterfinal contest.
The Comets were held to three hits. They came from the bats of Bella Bradford, Gracie Enos and Karleigh Nelson.
Reaching base via walks for Oakwood were Olivia Fegett, Gracie Hanner and Caydence Vermillion.
Enos pitched the first three innings and absorbed the loss. Vermillion pitched one inning and recorded three strikeouts.
Oakwood ends the year with a 9-19 overall record.
