Oakwood’s Connor Smith placed 23rd and Bryson McDaniel placed 31st in the IHSA boys’ track and field meet on Thursday (May 25) at Eastern Illinois University, in Charleston.

Smith was timed in 52.48 seconds in the 400 meters. McDaniel’s top mark in the triple jump was 39 feet, 0 ½ inch.
