Christian Paul strikes out 12 against Armstrong-Potomac

Christian Paul turned in a stellar effort in the season-opener for the Heritage Junior High baseball team on Thursday (Aug. 10).
Paul registered 12 strikeouts in his 4 1/3-inning stint and departed with the lead in a game Heritage eventually lost to Armstrong-Potomac, 16-8.
The game was stopped after five innings by darkness.
On Tuesday (Aug. 15), Heritage dropped a 17-0 decision at Westville. The Hawks’ lone hit was by Nathaniel Ely, who also stole a base.
Heritage (0-2) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 17) at Homer against Mary Miller Junior High.
