Westbound I-74, Northbound I-57 ramps to close for 2 years

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that as part of ongoing
work at the Interstate 57/74 interchange in Champaign, the ramp from westbound I-74 to
northbound I-57 will close the night of Aug. 17.

The closure is necessary for construction of new ramps to and from westbound I-74 and
northbound I-57, with this portion of the project expected to last about two years. A detour will
be posted.
