Junior Reid Dazey posted the best score for the Oakwood boys’ golf team on Wednesday (Aug. 16) in a three-school non-scored meet at Danville’s Harrison Park.

Dazey shot a 49.

The Comets’ other participants are all freshmen: Rowdy Vick-Phelps (655), Alex Silha (71) and Tristan Wenzelman (73).

Team scores were not tabulated in a meet that also included St. Joseph-Ogden and Chrisman.

Oakwood returns to action on Tuesday (Aug. 22) at Harrison Park against Milford, Watseka and Westville
