St. Joseph golf posts win over Danville

Ashten Cafarelli shot a 39 on Thursday (Aug. 17) at Willow Pond, in Rantoul, to lead the St. Joseph-Ogden boys’ golf team to a 175-198 dual-meet win over Danville.
Teammate Trevor Ames fired a season-best 44. The Spartans’ other leaders were Talan Miller (45), Devin Swisher (47), Asher Pruemer (48) and Ty Buss (49).
SJ-O (3-0) returns to action on Wednesday (Aug. 23) against Schlarman Academy at Danville Country Club.
