Bulldogs snap Spartan win-streak

Mahomet-Seymour snapped the four-match winning streak of the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team on Tuesday (Aug. 29), collecting a 25-21, 25-15 victory.
Peyton Williams led the Spartans with seven kills and seven digs. She also ended with one service ace.
Halle Brazelton recorded 13 assists and five digs. Addie Roesch had five kills, four digs and three aces.
On Monday (Aug. 28), Brazelton just missed a double-double as SJ-O rolled up its fourth consecutive victory, 25-23, 25-12 at Decatur St. Teresa.
Brazelton finished with 20 assists and nine digs.
Williams (11 kills) and Roesch (eight kills) provided an offensive spark. Williams contributed three aces and three digs while Roesch ended with three digs and one ace.
Sadie Ericksen totaled five digs and two aces.
SJ-O (4-1) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 31) at Teutopolis.
