Brody Taflinger and Thomas Wells each had one goal and one assist on Thursday (Aug. 31) as the Oakwood/Salt Fork soccer team recorded its second shutout, 2-0, at home over Iroquois West.
Taflinger’s goal was the only scoring in the first half.
The Comets held a 35-0 edge on shots attempted.
Oakwood/Salt Fork (3-2) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 5) at Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
