Spartan Soccer defeats Argenta-Oreana

Logan Mills’ second four-goal match of the season on Thursday (Aug. 31) propelled the St. Joseph-Ogden soccer team to a 6-2 triumph at Argenta-Oreana.

Teammates Spencer Wilson and Zach Harper each netted one goal. Wilson assisted on three goals.

Jacek Slowikowski registered six saves.

In the championship match of the Argenta-Oreana Tournament on Saturday (Sept. 2), SJ-O dropped a 3-2 decision to Warrensburg-Latham.

Alex Acosta and Branson Pearman hit the Spartans’ goals. Wilson and Harper each had one assist.

Slowikowski had three saves.

SJ-O (5-1) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 4) at home against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
