Paul wins 8th grade division at Cowchip Classic

Heritage’s Christian Paul was the individual winner on Friday (Sept. 1) in the boys’ eighth-grade division of the Chrisman Junior High Cowchip Classic.

His 2-mile time was 10 minutes, 56.1 seconds. He was victorious in 3,8 seconds.

The other boys’ entry for Heritage was Owen Elmore, who finished 73^rd in the boys’ seventh-grade race (17:44.1).

In the girls’ eighth-grade meet, Heritage’s Leah DelRossi was 15^th (15:02.8) and teammate Reagan Stierwalt was 24^th out of 63 runners (15:34.5).

In the girls’ seventh-grade race, Rylen Stierwalt was 37^th (17:05.0) and teammate Kimber Sands was 61^st (20:34.5).

The lone Heritage runner in the girls’ sixth-grade division was Gwen Keely (46^th in 18:42.3). In the girls’ fifth-grade race, Heritage’s Rhorie Stierwalt placed 11^th in a 41-runner field (17:32.7).
