Quinn Sperry distributed 14 assists and Nikita Taylor landed 11 kills on Tuesday (Sept. 5) as the Oakwood volleyball team recorded a two-set sweep over visiting Schlarman Academy, 25-11, 25-8.
Luci Morris notched eight kills and three service aces. Morris totaled seven digs. Sperry and Laney Clouse each had six digs.
On Wednesday (Sept. 6), the Comets suffered a 25-20, 25-7 loss at St. Joseph-Ogden. Taylor totaled five kills and four service aces. Sperry contributed five assists.
Oakwood (2-3) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 7) at home against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
