Franzen finishes 20th at First to Finish Invitational

St. Joseph-Ogden had three entries on Saturday (Sept. 9) in the First to Finish girls’ cross-country invitational at Detweiller Park, in Peoria.

All three placed in the top half of the 403-runner field.

Savanna Franzen was timed on the 3-mile course in 18 minutes, 51.30 seconds. She finished in 20^th place.

The Spartans’ other team leaders were Chloe Burkhalter (49^th in 19:50.20) and Kiah Riesel (182^nd in 23:00.60).

SJ-O returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 12) at Monticello.
