Oakwood’s Comets secured their third two-set volleyball sweep of the season on Monday (Sept. 11), topping Danville 25-17, 25-19 in the Vikings’ gymnasium.

Quinn Sperry handed out five assists. Nikita Taylor collected six kills. Luci Morris added four blocks to go with four assists.

On Tuesday (Sept. 12), visiting Armstrong-Potomac topped the Comets in a thriller, 25-27, 25-18, 25-23.

Taylor landed nine kills, Morris produced seven blocks and Sperry doled eight assists to go with three service aces.

Oakwood (3-5) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 14) at Watseka.
