Mahomet-Seymour defeats SJO tennis

St. Joseph-Ogden suffered a 9-0 loss in a girls’ tennis match on Tuesday (Sept. 12) at Mahomet-Seymour.

SJ-O used a doubles’ lineup that featured six different players than the ones who competed in singles. For the match, nine of the 12 players to take the court were underclassmen.

The Spartans (1-5) return to action at home on the courts at the Atkins Tennis Center on Monday (Sept. 18) against Decatur St. Teresa.
