Edwards finishes first for Oakwood/Salt Fork Cross Country

Brayden Edwards was the top placer for the Oakwood/Salt Fork boys’ cross-country team on Saturday (Sept. 16) in the open division of the Richard Spring Invitational at Detweiller Park, in Peoria.

Edwards was timed in 18 minutes, 22.80 seconds and took 134^th in the 573-runner field.

Teammates following him were Logan Henthorn (234^th in 19:19.30), Ben Darling (320^th in 20:07.30) and Alex Wells (356^th in 20:30.90).

The Comets return to action on Tuesday (Sept.19) in the Heritage Invitational in Homer.
