Hawks place 8th in Tuscola Invite

Heritage freshman Clark Roland finished in 16^th place on Saturday (Spt. 16) in the 17-school Tuscola boys’ cross-country invitational.

His 3-mile time was 16 minutes, 43.01 seconds.

Teammates trailing Roland were Eli Denmark-Collins (36^th in 17:53.49), Aiden Ashbrook (39^th in 17:55.16), Cohen Sands (61^st in 18:46.64), Joshua Stierwalt (74^th in 19:12.13) and Hunter Montgomery (122^nd in 20:35.79).

Heritage placed eighth in the team chase with 216 points. Meet champion Tuscola totaled 69 points.

In the 136-runner girls’ race, the Hawks’ lone entry, Lillian Montgomery, ended in 34^th place with a time of 22:25.55.

Heritage returns to action on Tuesday (Sept.19) in the Heritage Invitational at Homer Lake.
