Macie Russell leads Oakwood/Salt Fork at Richard Spring Invite

Oakwood/Salt Fork senior Macie Russell ran fourth in a field of 421 participants on Saturday (Sept. 16) in the open division of the Richard Spring girls’ cross-country invitational at Detweiller Park, in Peoria.

Her 3-mile time was 19 minutes, 22.4 seconds.

Teammate Callie Richardson was 76^th in 21:19.1. Other Comet entries were Zoe Moudy (291^st in 25:52.3),  Lanie Birge (330^th in 26:44.3) and Macie Kinney (391^st in 29:41.0).

Oakwood/Salt Fork placed 23^rd with a team composite of 636 points. Meet champion Elmhurst York totaled 46 points.
