Spartans open conference play with win over St. Thomas More

Addie Roesch blasted 14 kills on Thursday (Sept. 14) as the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team opened Illini Prairie Conference play with a 27-25, 25-16 triumph over St. Thomas More in Champaign.

Roesch also had four digs and one service ace.

Halle Brazelton handed out 25 assists to go with three digs and one kill. Peyton Williams had matching totals of eight kills and eight digs. Reese Wheatley had four blocks and one kill.

SJ-O (14-2) returns to action on Monday (Sept.18) at Marshall.
