Spartan volleyball overpowers Marshall

St. Joseph-Ogden’s volleyball team notched its 11th two-set sweep of the season on Monday (Sept. 18) and its 15th total win by overpowering Marshall, 25-9, 25-14.
Addie Roesch and Peyton Williams highlighted the offensive attack by drilling eight kills apiece. Roesch also had eight digs, two service aces and one block. Williams added five digs, one ace and one block.
Halle Brazelton totaled 17 assists, one kill and one dig.
On Tuesday (Sept. 19), SJ-O dealt Tolono Unity a 25-11, 19-25, 25-14 setback.
Williams slammed 11 kills to go with nine digs and one ace. Roesch ended with eight kills, five digs and two blocks. Brazelton recorded 25 assists and 17 digs.
The Spartans (16-2) return to action on Thursday (Sept. 21) at Pontiac.
