Spartans win dual-meet over Decatur St. Teresa

A 6-0, 6-0 win by Olivia Getty in singles (at No. 4) and a two-set sweep by the doubles team of Lauren Lannert and Sara Kearney, 6-4, 6-2, were highlights for the St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ tennis team on Monday (Sept.18) as the Spartans picked up their second dual-meet win of the year, 5-4, over visiting Decatur St. Teresa.

St. Teresa was playing shorthanded with four total players available and forfeited three matches.

St. Joseph (2-5) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 21) at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.
